The last two non-Queen songs we’ve covered were Billie Holiday and Dolly Parton. This week’s song is not like either. If you’re easily offended by dark lyrics in a comedic/novelty punk-techno song that borders on poor taste, then this one likely isn’t for you. We knew nothing about the band TISM and we’re not sure we know a whole lot more now we’ve listened to then, but any way you wanna cut it, these guys are different! Very different.

If Kev were to title this episode, he’d probably call it “Now I’m bored”, or possibly, “Mama Cass’s sandwich”

The twenty eighth installment in this podcast-within-a-podcast covers a song submitted by that Australian troublemaker, Jason Hess. The song is “Mama Cass’s sandwich” by TISM (This Is Serious Mum), a song that made Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers very angry. Then again, as well as being friends with Ricer Phoenix, Flea was also friends with noted paedophile (allegedly) Anthony Keidis, so maybe he’s not the best arbiter of taste!
