Roses are Red, Violets are Blue, I know your my sister, but I’m looking at you… You could sort of condense the lyrics in this one down to that sentence. Nylon strings, epic bass, and a soulful piano make up the bones of this song, but its muscle comes from the brilliance of Brian’s voice and guitar work. There’s a change in the format and the boys are ready to rock. There were five different manifestations from this week’s album, so the wheel spun up none of them!
If Randy were to title this episode, he’d probably call it “How come you behave this way” or possibly, “Maybe Bri’s parents shoulda got the boy a dog”
Today’s episode covers our fourth track from The Game, Brian’s sinister lamentation, “Sail Away Sweet Sister”
NOTE: Skip forward to 23:52 if wanna get straight into the manifestations and wheel spin.
The song featured at the end of this week’s episode is Bode’s Galaxy, by Randy’s former band, Absofunkinlutely. Check it out here: https://youtu.be/lB7iaAnZOZc
